Fashion Trends The Lot

The past week, I've gone to quite a few shops in Cape Town. And believe me, there are a lot of clothing shops and boutiques. I honestly think any reader who has been to Cape Town, would agree with me.

Without going to the usual stores, during a visit to Cape Town, I've decided to go to the shops I'd usually pass. In Canal Walk, I've stumbled upon the perfect example of vintage edge with a dash of grunge and glamour. With clothing divided into a male and female section, I introduce to you, The Lot.If I could, I'd buy everything. I am in love with this store. Not only do the clothes compel to my taste, but the decor as well. Gosh, it has definitely made its way to my most favorite store's list (not that I have one). At The Lot, you could get anything from formal dresses, to everyday dresses. Accessories, leather shorts, sexy jackets, jerseys, skirts, and so on. If I could describe the vibe that it gave me, with an artist, I'd use Florence and the Machine, Walk the Moon and Gotye (If you don't know any of these singers/groups where have you been these last few months?)

Do yourself a favour, and visit The Lot next time you decide to go to Cape Town. I've only been to the one in Canal Walk. It's very big and spacey. Quite comfortable if you ask me. You will not be disappointed. Promise! It's situated at 43 Kloof Street according to internet sources, as well as in Canal Walk across from YDE.

You absolutely know you want to. <3

Fashion Trends Football Jacket

American, Comfy, and a want since birth.

I'm talking about the Football Jacket.

So, I've alwaaaays seen it in Movies and American TV series. But I have NEVER seen it in the shops or at local markets, which sucks. This was until one of my friends talked about a football jacket that she bought. So I guess the American inspired Football Jacket has finally made its way to our South African stores.

The Football Jacket is a cute and fun jacket to complete your look. It looks good almost anywhere with, almost, anything - with shorts, with jeans, around the house, outside, at parties, etc. It's one of those clothing pieces, that you can wear anything with. Basically. It is really diverse (BONUS), almost like a hoodie. Plus it even shows some inspiring signs on he runway.

You can dress it up, or dress it down. Just don't wear it to a formal event. You'd end up looking like a clown if you wore it with a maxi skirt, or evening dress. Eh, No. Not ever.
I really don't think I have to describe to you what Football Jacket is. If don't know what it is, you are probably living under a rock or something. This is something you have to wear once in your life. ATLEAST.
